This full-time position involves ensuring product safety and quality in our food production process. The role requires precision, speed, and a commitment to exceeding standards in convenience food manufacturing.What you''ll doOperate the metal detector to ensure product safety.Record production data, including times and rejects.Ensure products are placed into separate crates without mixing.Pass test pieces through the detector at required frequencies and record this.Handle rejected products, ensuring they are properly contained and retrieved.Follow SOPs for corrective actions regarding weight or metal rejects.Report ongoing issues to QA.Assist in training new staff.Carry out end-of-day cleaning of the metal detector.Report any product issues, such as foreign objects, to QA or the Team Leader.QualificationsIdeal candidates will have:Experience in food manufacturing, preferably in high-care environments.Experience in fast-paced food processing.Ability to work in chill environments and perform repetitive tasks.Attention to detail.Commitment to quality and teamwork.What we are offeringCompetitive pay and superannuation.Employee benefits including discounts, health insurance, and banking perks.Training and development opportunities.Application ProcessApply via the link below with your resume.
