Guided by our values of integrity, respect, accountability and excellence, we use leading science and technology to move fiber-based packaging forward.Location: 16645 Granite Rd, Maple Heights, OH 44137Shift/Hours: Mon-Thurs, 6am 4pm, flexibility for Friday overtime as neededPay: $30.38 p/hrBenefitsComprehensive health and welfare benefits eligibility on first day employedThe OpportunityPerforms routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on electrical and mechanical systems involving production equipment and plant systems including PLCs.Responsibilities IncludeEnsure production machinery functions correctly and efficiently.Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressor, and vacuum systems.Work on motors, conveyors, AC/DC, and PLC troubleshooting.Will work with steam and boiler controls, and mechanical power drives.Perform predictive and preventative maintenance activities.Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.Complete Timely and accurate paperwork.What You Need To SucceedStrong Electrical and Mechanical aptitude required with extensive troubleshooting experience.Experience with Troubleshooting in a Production/Manufacturing Environment.Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems.Ability to install and set up both A/C and D/C drives.Able to install and troubleshoot basic 3 phase motor control circuits.Knowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switches.A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.PLC troubleshooting and problem-solving ability preferred.Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.Must be fully computer literate with Microsoft environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner.Ability to work overtime.Basic mathematical skills and basic technology/computer skills.Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Military training and/or Technical School preferred.Corrugated background is a plus, but not requiredWhat We OfferCorporate culture based on integrity, respect, accountability and excellence.Comprehensive training with numerous learning and development opportunities.An attractive salary reflecting skills, competencies and potential.A career with a global packaging company where Sustainability, Safety and Inclusion are business drivers and foundational elements of the daily work.The pay rate for this position is $30.38/hr depending on your role, level and location.
