The hotel features 190 rooms and apartments, a fully equipped conference centre, restaurant and bar. Offering impeccable service and a welcoming atmosphere, Batmans Hill on Collins is the ideal venue for guests visiting the city for leisure or work.We are looking for an energetic and reliable Houseperson to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will support the housekeeping team so that we always provide a well-presented space for our guests. This role is paid at the award rate of $25.85 per hour plus penalties on weekends and public holidays.With our supportive and welcoming team, this role offers a great development opportunity to grow your skills and confidence in a busy hotel right in the heart of Melbourne, and to join the Accor group of hotels.Job DescriptionEnsure all housekeeping pantries are fully stocked with guest amenitiesEnsure towels and linen are refilled, replaced and stored correctlyReport maintenance requirements.Ensure all equipment is maintained, used and stored correctly.Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are followedCleaning of public area spacesQualificationsWhat we are looking forAvailable to work up to 30 hours per week on a rotating roster including weekendsGood communication skills and able to work as part of a teamAttention to detail, taking pride in the presentation of the hotelAble to work in a physically demanding role which includes lifting and carrying, moving trolleys and using stairsExperience in housekeeping is preferred, and hotel experience is an advantageAs this is a part time position, you must have current working rights in Australia.
