Join us and make a meaningful difference to the lives of seniors.About The RoleJuniper Aged Care is actively seeking detail-oriented and experienced Kitchen Hand to join our dedicated team at Juniper Hayloft on a casual basis. The primary purpose of this role is to provide assistance in the kitchen, preparing food, and keeping the kitchen area clean and compliant with food safety requirements.The responsibilities associated with this position may vary depending on the operational needs of the facility.This is a casual opportunity to cover planned and unplanned leaveKey ResponsibilitiesPreparing and presenting breakfast, lunch and dinner in accordance with resident requirements/ preferencesProviding kitchen hand services at the facility such as modifying food texture and apportioning food accuratelyMaintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen areas and equipmentConsistently applying Safe Food Handling PracticesAdhering to Junipers Occupational, Safety and Health requirementsKey RequirementsMust have valid work rights in AustraliaPrevious experience in a commercial cooking or aged care cateringSafe food handling practice and hygiene standards with experience in maintaining cleanlinessGood written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with residents, customers, and team membersKnowledge of relevant chemicals and safe handling practices and procedures for cooking operationsExcellent organisational and time management skillsWhats On OfferAttractive remuneration $30.42 +11.5% superannuationNon-profit values driven Western Australian aged care providerSalary Packaging up to $18,550 per annum tax freeFree parking on siteHow To ApplyDont miss this opportunity to join a supportive team in a rewarding role!
