We are seeking someone who can commit to a weekly roster, liaise with the managers as to tasks to be completed for that day and work independently. Tasks include:-Greeting and guiding people with Blindness or Low Vision who enter the store (training on guiding provided)-Answering phones in a friendly and courteous manner-Cleaning the stores merchandise and be willing to learn about our product range.-Making reminder calls to clients regarding upcoming appointments-Entering data into the clients profile-Ensuring profile is current-Other miscellaneous tasks asked by supervisorFriendly and professional workforce, lovely customer base and regular recognition of how your volunteering benefits the blindness and low vision community.Administration & Office Management , Companionship & Social Support , Disability Support , Retail & SalesSuitable forFamilies with Children , Skilled VolunteersCommitmentRegular - more than 6 monthsTrainingOnline training modules and on the job with a supportive staff supervisorTime required1 to 2 days per week.
