Ingleburn Montessori Early Learning Academy View all jobsQualifications and Requirements:Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care from a recognised University (as listed on the approved qualification list by ACECQA) (Bachelor of Education 0/5 or 0/12)Current, Provide an Emergency First Aid response in an Education and Care SettingCurrent, ACECQA approved Anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management trainingValid Working with Children Check clearanceCurrent, Accredited Child Protection TrainingTeacher Accreditation (Teaching Number)Knowledge and Practice:Demonstrated knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and/or My Time Our Place Framework, Education and Care Services National Law (2010), Education and Care Services National Regulations, Montessori Theory and teaching, RAP and SAT, and embedding all principles in daily practice.Promote child wellbeing and prevent harm by adhering to the National Principles of Child Safe Organisations or relevant Child Safe Standards.Maintain extensive knowledge of Child Protection legislation and its implications.Implement inclusive practices and foster an environment that honours diversity.Stay current with best early childhood practices.Role Responsibilities:Contribute to the development, implementation, and update of the Quality Improvement Plan in collaboration with the Director/Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader.Develop educational programs based on individual children''s needs.Document children''s developmental needs, interests, experiences, and participation.Assess children''s progress against learning outcomes and establish further learning goals.Work collaboratively with children, families, educators, staff, and management to achieve optimal outcomes.Make curriculum decisions that uphold children''s rights in consultation with stakeholders.Ensure the assessment and planning cycle enhances and extends each child''s learning and development.Mentor educators and staff to support children''s learning through investigation and projects.Provide supervision and facilitate critical reflection on educational programs, suggesting improvements.Additional InformationSalary, applicant numbers, skills match, and application questions are provided for insight.
