ABOUT THE ROLEThe role provides a chance to work in a team with future career growth potential.Reporting to the Site Manager & OHS Manager you will be supporting the site teams to achieve the project end goal.The successful applicant will ideally have experience in a similar role and be seeking to take on the responsibilities and challenges.You will be handed approx. 3 projects to work on (within your area) and be required to attend these projects to assist the team, as required. You may not be at the same project each day but should not have to travel to multiple throughout a day.The primary function of this role includes, but is not restricted to:General labouring duties, as required - site and shed clean, materials loading/ unloading, skilled labouring tasks, work with hand, battery and power toolsTraffic control, spotting, used of plant and equipmentMonitor, manage and report safety on siteSite walks/auditsas requiredDirection and monitoring safety procedures on siteSKILLS AND EXPERIENCETo apply for this position, you must:Have a Current Drivers License and own vehicle (mandatory)Full unrestricted Australian working rights5+ years experience within the commercial construction industry in MelbourneHave a current building & construction industry induction card - White Card (mandatory).Cert III OHS minimum (essential)Current First Aid Certificate (essential)Traffic Management license (preferred)Additional construction tickets (not essential but preferred)Good knowledge of construction works - able to assist trades on site with works as requiredCommitment to maintain a culture of safetyWillingness to adapt to tasks and conditions.Goodcommunication skills, always exhibiting professionalism and working as part of a team (everyone collectively pulls their weight)Can do attitude, high energy, willingness to learnABOUT THE BUSINESSOur business provides design, construction and project management services for all types of commercial construction projects.
