The Restoration Centre is a Christian faith based, not-for-profit, charitable organisation that restores mens lives coming out of Corrections.The role will be based in North Richmond, NSW and employee will be reporting to the Finance Manager and the Directors of the organisation.The role includes:Monitoring of payments and all rental payments by participantsEnsuring payments are received on timeData entry into the Centrepay systemsNotifying program participants if payments are in arrearsWeekly payment reportsLiaising with management and accountsCreating purchase orders and invoicesAccounts payable and receivableBank reconciliationsAssisting management in program deliveryAdditional tasks, duties and responsibilities may also be included as the role progresses.Applicants should ideally have the following:At least 1 years'' experience in an accounts or bookkeeping roleStrong numerical skills and attention to detailExperience with accounting software XeroA strong commitment to both the Mission and Vision Statements and to the values of The Restoration CentreExcellent, professional communication and organisational skillsEfficient time management skills to work within time frames and busy schedulesHigh level of computer skills and understanding, including use in variety of software (use of both Mac and PC preferable)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamAll applications please make sure to submit your resume, along with a covering letter and any additional supporting material to employment@therestorationcentre.com.Successful applicants will be notified by email to arrange an interview time.
