We collaborate with charities, private organisations, and the Government to benefit local communities.Reporting to the Plant Manager, the main purpose of this role is to oversee the smooth operations on a day-to-day basis, including management of the employees, contractors and promoting the health and safety of all staff.Please note, this role would be a Monday - Friday role and weekends may be required.About The RoleOversee all shift operations on a day-to-day basis, including management of the employees, contractors and continuous optimisationProviding effective leadership including mentoring, training, and coaching of staffDriving the team to achieve production and quality targetsEnsure accurate time capture of staff & rostering through the use of tracking softwareCoordinating the daily schedules of staff, making changes and adjustments to ensure optimal efficiency.Be the first point of contact for all things related to operational or Health & Safety while ensuring all staff comply with Re.Group''s values, policies, guidelines, and operational proceduresBecome a proficient operator of plant machinery such as forklifts, and other site-based processing equipmentOrganise job scheduling to ensure staff have the relevant information to complete the scope of work safely and efficientlyProvide toolbox talks that promote our Work, Health & Safety and raise awarenessStakeholder management of relations with Contractors, Councils, and association groupsStrive for improvement in operations whilst upholding a high level of safety at all timesContinually promote our vision of a wasteless societyAbout YouAt least 5 years of people management experience ideally in waste management/recycling or relevant industryYou think about safety firstEffective leadership and excellent communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of business.Passionate about the environment & local communitiesProficient in time capture systems to ensure accurate time capture of staff & rosteringActively looking to achieve operational efficiency and fostering a positive cultureWhat We Offer YouFull-time permanent roleAttractive salary + SuperMultiple career paths and advancement opportunitiesAccess to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Novated car leasingPPE providedOn-site or Street Parking availableThe opportunity to work towards our vision of creating a wasteless societyWork with a diverse and inclusive team of professionals who are passionate about making a difference!At Re.Group, we celebrate diversity, equity, and inclusion.
