Our lawyers and practice groups are highly ranked in all the major legal directories, including Chambers & Partners and Legal 500.What are we looking for?We are currently seeking a Law Graduate to join our Pro Bono Practice for a 12-month placement commencing in January 2026.As a Pro Bono Graduate, you will:Work exclusively with our pro bono clients on real legal matters.Gain hands-on experience and broaden your legal expertise by supporting low-income individuals, disadvantaged groups, and marginalised members of the Australian communityHave the flexibility to tailor your year to suit your interests this may include placements at public interest litigation organisations (such as Justice and Equity Centre (formerly PIAC), community legal centres, and/or charitable organisationsBe eligible to transition into our clerkship program at the conclusion of the placement and be considered for a graduate role in private practice, with the option of continuing a pro bono practice alongside a commercial roleWere looking for graduates who have not only demonstrated academic excellence but also have strong communication skills, enjoy working collaboratively, and are passionate about supporting pro bono clients and delivering impactful legal support.Placements are available in ourSydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, or Perthoffices.
