Our client is a global company specialising in repair, calibration, and support services for high-precision equipment. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Bench Service Team Leader to lead their Sydney-based service team.Position OverviewAs the Bench Service Team Leader, you will lead a skilled team of technicians in delivering exceptional repair, maintenance, and calibration services for cutting-edge industrial equipment. Youll oversee daily operations, drive KPI performance, support training and continuous improvement, and ensure the highest standards of service are met.This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a proactive individual with strong technical capabilities and a passion for driving team success in a high-performance service environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead daily, weekly, and monthly planning of repairs and resource allocation.Oversee performance against KPIs and drive process improvements.Promote OHS and continuous improvement initiatives.Conduct weekly team meetings and ensure training plans address skills gaps.Perform hands-on repair, service, and calibration of advanced industrial equipmentCoordinate with cross-functional departments and participate in management discussions.Maintain high standards of quality assurance and compliance with ISO standards.About YouTo succeed in this role, you will bring:5 + years experience in repair and calibration of advanced industrial or scientific equipment.2+ years proven leadership experience, ideally in a service/repair workshop environment.Strong planning and organisational skills with a focus on team development.Mechanical/electronic aptitude and familiarity with tools and diagnostic systems.Working knowledge of SAPExcellent relationship building skillsWhy Apply?Work with innovative industrial technology in a growing and dynamic sector.Lead a high-performing team and drive change across a national service network.Supportive and collaborative environment focused on quality, safety, and people.Competitive remuneration and career development pathways.Ready to take the next step?
