Join to apply for the Senior Security Operations Coordinator role at Reserve Bank of Australia2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Senior Security Operations Coordinator role at Reserve Bank of AustraliaGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Play an important part in shaping the future of our iconic Australian institutionPermanent opportunity based at the RBA Head Office in Sydney CBDHybrid work environment with the ability to work from home one day per weekAbout the teamThe Workplace Department is responsible for the sustainable and effective management of the Bank''s physical assets and the provision of services that together ensure operational availability, security, safety and effectiveness of the workplace.Within the Workplace Department, the Security Operations team is responsible for the physical security, emergency control procedures and response within the Bank''s physical security and emergency control framework.About the roleReporting to the National Manager, Security Operations, in this role, you will be required to:Develop and implement effective ongoing security awareness and education programs and training that promote the importance of and raises awareness of physical security within the BankPrepare and regularly deliver high quality security awareness presentations and training programs and presentations to Bank staff and contractors nationally.Gather and analyse security incident and activity data to inform awareness and education programs and trainingContribute to planning, development and implementation of security and risk management strategies and assessmentsAssist with the management of operational components of security contracts, including the development of standard operating procedures.Represent the Bank on external security and emergency workgroups and forumsAbout youGiven the nature of the role, you will need to be an Australian Citizen to apply for this role as the ability to hold an NV1 Security clearance will be required.You will have similar experience in managing security operations and associated KPIs across multiple sites within a large-scale environment with complex emergency and security controls; ideally a minimum of 5+ yearsExperience in planning, developing and delivering security training, awareness programs and presentations.Demonstrated experience in managing stakeholder relationships at a high levelHold or willingness to obtain a Certificate IV in Training and AssessmentCurrent Certificate IV or Diploma in Security & Risk Management preferredKnowledge of the Australian Government''s Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) is preferredBe MoreWorking for an organisation that truly makes a difference to the people of Australia, we can offer development and career opportunities in a collaborative environment that supports your growth, wellbeing and promotes flexibility.
