This is a rare opportunity to play a key leadership role within a high-performing organisation renowned for excellence in project delivery.Based in a modern office just steps from the beach in the heart of the Gold Coast, you''ll join a small, focused, and collaborative team committed to the successful delivery of this landmark development.About GoldlinQGoldlinQ is responsible for the financing, delivery, operation, and maintenance of the Gold Coast Light Rail through a Public Private Partnership (PPP) with the Queensland Government. The project is a key part of the citys public transport network and is jointly funded by three levels of government and private investors. With stages 1 and 2 operational and stage 3 under construction, GoldlinQ is committed to providing a safe, reliable, and sustainable transport solution for the Gold Coast.About the RoleReporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Finance Manager plays a critical leadership role in the financial governance and reporting of the project, strengthening the company''s financial framework. This role is ideal for a commercially astute finance professional who thrives in a hands-on environment with a wide scope of responsibilities. Due to the lean and focused nature of the team, the role requires a hands-on approach and strong ownership of deliverables to a high standard.Key ResponsibilitiesLeading and coordinating the statutory reporting process, including convening the Financial Reporting Committee, managing timeframes, liaising with audit firmsPreparing and delivering accurate and timely monthly management reportsOverseeing tax compliance, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and governance requirements, and liaising with Tax advisorsProviding strategic financial insight and operational support across the businessSupervising payroll and ensuring robust internal controlsEnsuringAccounting standards and policies are adhered toDriving continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and controlsAbout YouTo thrive in this role, you will be a sharp, highly motivated, detail-oriented, technically strong and commercially minded finance professional with a can do attitude.
