This role will be responsible for shaping our internal systems to meetand exceedlegal, ethical, and educational standards, while staying true to our Montessori values.Whether your background is in education, compliance, or law, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to drive quality and child safety across a growing network of services.Key Responsibilities:Lead the organisations Child Safe Standards strategy, including monthly Child Safety Committee meetingsOversee Assessment & Rating readiness and regulatory responses in line with NQF and NQSChair CCYP Committee and manage the full lifecycle of any reportable conduct or child protection mattersConduct internal audits, mock visits, investigations, and root cause analyses to manage quality and compliance riskEnsure consistency and quality in Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs) across all servicesMaintain all organisational policies, procedures, and governance documentationDeliver targeted training to leaders on topics such as legislation, mandatory reporting, and WHS complianceAbout You:Background in education, law, compliance, or a regulatory authorityStrong understanding of governance, risk, and child protection obligationsExceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft policies and formal reportsAnalytical and structured mindset with high attention to detailAssertive and professional, able to confidently guide centre leadership teams through compliance processesComfortable working independently and across multiple sitesDesirable (but not essential):Familiarity with DET, CCYP, and National Quality Framework processesExperience conducting investigations or managing reportable conduct mattersUnderstanding of WHS legislation and risk mitigation strategiesPrevious work in legal practice, regulatory investigations, or child safety rolesYour Impact:AMIGA centres maintain or exceed compliance and quality ratingsAll reportable conduct matters are resolved within legislative timeframes and with transparencyOur policies reflect legal best practice and are embedded in day-to-day operationsTeams are equipped with tools, training, and support to meet their obligationsWhat Youll Gain:A strategic leadership role in a values-driven education organisationA collaborative Executive Team and a flat, family-led cultureOpportunities for professional development in both governance and educationThe chance to influence child safety and quality outcomes across Victoria and South AustraliaThis role is both in our Melbourne CBD Office and on site at different services.Apply now to lead with integrity and drive compliance excellence in an organisation that truly values child safety.How do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.Your application will include the following questions:Do you have working rights in Australia?
