This is a full-time role that will play a pivotal part in driving the success and growth of the store''s performance. As Retail Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the store''s daily operations, from staff management to inventory control and financial management.What you''ll be doingOverseeing all daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and merchandisingManaging and developing the retail workforce (mainly volunteers), providing training, feedback, and support to ensure excellent customer serviceImplementing effective inventory management systems to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce wasteAnalysing sales data and preparing reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvementEnsuring the store meets all relevant health, safety, and compliance standardsActively participating in the planning and execution of promotional activities and special eventsCollaborating with the wider LLMWS team to support the organisation''s charitable objectivesWhat we''re looking forProven experience in retail management, preferably within the charity or not-for-profit sectorStrong volunteer management skills and the ability to lead, motivate and develop a teamExcellent customer service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional shopping experienceProficient in inventory management, financial reporting, and data analysisExceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitaskA positive, problem-solving attitude and a commitment to the Lifeline mission and valuesAbout usLifeline Macarthur and Western Sydney is a not-for-profit organisation that provides vital crisis support and suicide prevention services to the local community.
