We support the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to performance, engagement, wellbeing, and offboarding, ensuring our people are empowered and connected every step of the way.About the RoleWe''re looking for an experienced HR professional to join our People and Culture team for a 12-month parental leave cover opportunity.As a People and Culture Business Partner, you''ll be strategic, and commercially savvy and will partner with our Therapy Services and Business Support teams working across workforce planning, organisational design, and leadership capability uplift helping to embed a high-performing and inclusive culture aligned with Lifestart''s values.You''ll also co-lead key P&C initiatives that drive enterprise-wide priorities including culture, talent, compliance, and operating model changes.You will work closely with leaders to deliver people-focused solutions that enhance employee experience, uplift leadership capability, and drive culture and performance. This role is both strategic and hands-on - supporting initiatives across recruitment, performance management, employee relations, engagement, systems improvement, and compliance.Responsibilities:Partner with leaders to align workforce strategy with business and service delivery goalsLead targeted talent acquisition strategies and onboarding to meet market and operational demandDeliver proactive, solutions-focused support in performance management, ER/IR, and wellbeingDrive strategic P&C projects and frameworks across engagement, capability, compliance, and cultureContribute to board-level reporting, remuneration benchmarking, and enterprise workforce planningEnable a consistent and high-performing culture through coaching, systems, and process improvementsSupport a collaborative, data-driven, and risk-aware HR practice within a regulated sector (NDIS)Champion inclusion, safety, and leadership at all levels of the organisationProvide advice on policies, awards, and legislation across the employee lifecycleCoaching managers through performance reviews, grievances, complaints, and disciplinary processesManaging workplace investigations, complaints, and injury/return-to-work processesOther duties as reasonably requiredAbout You - Skills and ExperienceYou''re a forward-thinking P&C leader who thrives in complex, purpose-led environments.
