You will partner with other teams across Research & Insights and the company to drive efficient, insights-informed decision making, identifying critical opportunities for improving the customer and user experience on our key products and delivering business success. Joining this team means you will contribute to expanding our over 250,000 customer base in 190 countries, having a direct impact for tens of thousands of customers and millions of users!ResponsibilitiesWhat You''ll DoYou will collaborate with designers, data scientists, product managers, and engineers to create innovative solutions for Atlassian, contributing to our Enterprise transformation. You will be responsible for identifying, defining, and prioritizing critical research needs and delivering measurable impact to the business. Success requires a background in mixed methods research, strong communication, storytelling, and leadership skills to drive product vision and inspire innovation.In This Role You WillIdentify critical Platform research priorities, driving a practice that balances speed and quality of research execution.Partner with product managers, designers, data science, engineers, and other cross-functional teams to define the research roadmap, execute the strategy, and deliver critical insights that move the business forward.Lead and inspire a high-performing team of mixed methods researchers.Connect UX insights with our established brand and market research insights.Provide thought leadership in UX and related research practices.QualificationsYour background8+ years of experience in research, including leading research strategy in complex or enterprise-level software environments.2+ years of experience managing research teams of 4 or more.Expertise in applying quantitative and qualitative research methods to business problems, impacting product direction and experience design.Proficiency in hands-on research, with demonstrated skill in collecting and analyzing human behavioral data to improve product plans and UX in a technology industry setting.Strong storytelling skills and experience with strategies to drive engagement and actionability of research insights.Proven ability to influence business strategy and drive organizational change.Experience building trusted relationships with senior business leaders.Our Perks & BenefitsAtlassian offers various perks and benefits to support you, your family, and community engagement.
