If you are a motivated team player obsessed with fashion and pop culture, we want to hear from you.In this role, reporting to the Merchandising Director and collaborating with the Trend Director, you will lead a team to create on-trend, commercially successful styles that reflect Princess Polly''s values and sustainability goals.Key responsibilities include:Managing a weekly assortment of 1015 styles per designer, aligned with the Buying Plan.Ensuring quality and financial success, including maintaining a 70% IMU and a target return rate of Driving Earth Club initiatives, aiming for 40% of the design assortment to feature sustainable materials.Mentoring and developing a strong team culture, attracting new talent.Collaborating with Buying, Production, Marketing, and Social Responsibility teams to deliver cohesive collections.Key Deliverables:Leading weekly design presentations and ensuring alignment with OTB and financial targets.Monitoring critical path timelines for timely collection delivery.Engaging in trend scouting and quarterly workshops to stay ahead of trends.Approving fabrics, graphics, and design elements to maintain brand consistency.Partnering with Production and QA teams for fit and quality control.What Were Looking For:Strong leadership skills with a passion for nurturing talent.Previous design experience is required.Strategic, detail-oriented, with a focus on achieving financial and quality metrics.Trend identification and technical design skills.Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and suppliers.We offer an excellent package including competitive salary, flexible working arrangements, parental leave and family planning programs, employee discounts, a renovated office in Burleigh Heads, staff social activities, and monthly celebrations.
