As part of the Quality Assurance team the Quality Assurance Officer will perform a range of duties outlined below.2.POSITION DUTIESQuality measurement and reportingAssist to identify and develop indicators to monitor program, departmental and organisational performanceProvide leadership, direction and support to programs and departments around quality assurance reportingAssist to develop methods to audit, analyse, evaluate and monitor clinical care in relation to patient outcomesSchedule and conduct regular audits consistent with quality planning and current prioritiesConduct mortality and morbidity audits and assist medicals unit to review their performance.Coordinate the provision of SVHM quality data to external bodies for reporting and benchmarking purposesClinical governance and assuranceProvide leadership, direction and coordination for the conduct of clinical governance and other assurance committeesCoordinate and facilitate the clinical risk advisory committeesProvide oversight of the quality of detailed clinical incident investigations (including Root Cause Analysis and In Depth Case Reviews) and other reviews as requiredOversee and coordinate the SVHM policy management systemOversee and coordinate the SVHM clinical audit system MARSSupport the systems in place to monitor compliance with clinical policies, clinical practice guidelines and proceduresConduct other clinical quality assurance work as directedConsumer participationFacilitate and oversee the patient experience measurement systems and programs including data analysis and the standards and legislationCollate evidence for accreditation eventsCoach staff around the requirements of accreditation standards and provide relevant education and informationClinical incident reporting systems and investigationsOversee and administer the clinical incident reporting systemPerform the role of system administrator including maintaining the organisation structure register and alertsLiaise with SVHA and system vendor for upgrades and system configurationFacilitate the provision of relevant data and reports to the businessOversee clinical incident investigation processes and
