By joining our team, you join an organisation that offers opportunities for future growth all over the world.What You''ll DoIn this exciting career opportunity, you will oversee our credit management processes, ensuring timely collections, minimizing bad debt risks, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The role is critical in optimizing cash flow and reducing financial risk. You will also be responsible for assessing creditworthiness, resolving disputes, optimizing cash flow, and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve company financial objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate customer credit applications, conduct risk assessments, and provide recommendations to managementMonitor customer credit limits, arrange interim payments as needed, and review accounts for potential limit increasesManage credit insurance activities, liaising with insurers on policy updates, submission of claims, and limit adjustmentsProactively manage the aged debtors ledger, reconcile customer ledgers, and ensure timely follow-up on overdue accountsMediate between customers, sales, and claims departments to resolve disputes and facilitate paymentManage customer master data, process payments, reconcile customer accounts, and release orders in SAPProvide regular updates to the Credit Manager on overdue accounts and cash flow metricsGenerate ad hoc reports as required to support business decisions and credit analysisWhat You''ll BringMinimum 4 years of experience in credit control and collectionsTertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferredFamiliarity with Australian credit laws and debt recovery processesStrong knowledge of collections best practices, credit risk assessment, financial review, and dispute resolutionProficiency in SAP and Excel (pivot tables, Vlookups, etc.)Strong negotiation and communication skillsAbility to build rapport with customers and internal stakeholdersAnalytical mindset, proactive, and results-drivenFocus on achieving targets and minimizing bad debtHigh attention to detail, skilled in Customer Master Data ManagementWhy join us?Etex Australia prioritizes professional development, focusing on mentorship and supportive team environments that foster individual growth.Flexible / Hybrid working modelYearly salary reviewsEAP services for you and your familyReward and recognition programPaid Parental Leave for Primary and Secondary CarersFully supported trainingGreat culture, supportive team environment; we work together and help each other "enjoy a laugh whilst working hard"Sound like you?
