Asset Data Analyst 9-Month Contract OpportunityParramatta, NSW (Close to Public Transport)9-Month Fixed-Term Contract Immediate StartMake a measurable impact on critical asset management projects supporting a Key Client.About the RoleBGIS is seeking a detail-oriented Asset Data Analyst to support the Asset Data Rectification Project, with potential future opportunities tied to long-term asset management initiatives.Working closely with internal technical teams and external stakeholders, you will help build a reliable asset dataset to guide essential asset management, lifecycle planning, and maintenance strategies for the Key Clients portfolio across Sydney CBD, Parramatta, and NSW.Key ResponsibilitiesValidate, review, and accurately record asset data across the portfolio.Ensure data aligns with BGIS frameworks and integrates with the central asset register.Support the setup and refinement of asset management and maintenance programs.Collaborate with BGIS Technical Asset, Data Integrity, and Planned Preventative Maintenance teams.Monitor vendor service impacts and support necessary agreement updates.Drive process improvements, data management strategies, and quality assurance activities.Provide error reporting, gap analysis, and support corrective actions during data capture.Liaise with internal stakeholders and, when required, Key Client representatives.Contribute to asset lifecycle modelling, budgeting, and strategic planning through comprehensive data analysis.Key Systems UsedMicrosoft ExcelEY Elementary (Key Clients asset database)SPM Assets (data capture tool)Manhattan (BGIS asset management system)Qualifications & ExperienceEssential:Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.Strong computer skills, including MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, Power BI, and other data capture tools.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Exceptional interpersonal skills, able to communicate clearly and tactfully with managers, clients, peers, and diverse technical teams.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Desirable:Firm understanding of physical assets, including property and equipment.Prior experience in facility or asset management.Knowledge of maintenance programs or scheduling frameworks.Understanding of relevant Australian Standards and compliance requirements.Competence in clear, concise, and tactful communication.Qualifications:Tertiary qualification in data science, spatial science, infrastructure asset management, or similar discipline (desired).Why Choose BGIS?At BGIS, we don''t just build infrastructurewe build careers.
