This full-time role is ideal for a technically capable and solutions-focused professional with strong local experience, ready to take the next step in their career. You will work closely with our project managers, contractors, and clients, providing specialist engineering input on remedial projects across Melbourne.This is an office-based position with regular site attendance and offers genuine career development opportunities, including the chance to build and lead your own engineering team within the business.Key Responsibilities: Conduct site inspections and forensic building investigations Prepare clear and detailed engineering reports, scopes of works, and specifications Provide engineering advice on structural issues, water ingress, faade systems, concrete spalling, and fire compliance Assist with contractor selection, tender evaluation, and oversight of remedial works Ensure all technical work complies with relevant legislation, codes and standards, including the NCC and Australian Standards Collaborate with internal project managers and external consultants to ensure successful project delivery Develop remedial designs and specifications for structural, facade, and waterproofing repairs Prepare detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD or RevitYour Profile: Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) Registered with Engineers Australia and/or National Engineering Register (NER) 35 years local experience in remedial engineering, structural assessments or building consultancy Strong understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards Excellent written communication skills, particularly in technical reporting Proficiency in drafting software (AutoCAD essential; Revit or Bluebeam desirable) Current Australian work rights and valid Victorian drivers licenceWhy Join Us?
