This pivotal role involves supporting, developing, and optimising existing APIs and user interfaces, integrating third-party solutions, managing cloud environments, improving UI/UX, and ensuring compliance with accessibility, usability, and security standards.You will be a key team player, working onsite 1-2 days per week with one of our rapidly expanding key clients whose software offering is rolling out nationally across Australian high schools. You''ll be excited about collaborating closely with our client on this federally funded initiative in the EdTech space, making a direct positive impact on youth health and wellbeing.You will actively participate in sprint meetings and daily stand-ups with both Netfront and our client teams to ensure project goals are met. Your keen eye for detail will be essential in reporting development progress, providing daily project updates, and offering team feedback.Backend: .NET Core, .NET 6+, ASP.NET, Entity Framework Core, GraphQL, RESTFrontend: React/NextJS, TypeScript, HTML, CSS (Blazor a plus)Cloud: AWS (primary)Key Responsibilities:As a Full Stack .NET Developer, you will work on:Develop, maintain, and continuously optimise proprietary APIs, focusing on performance and scalability for front-end consumption.Frontend Development & UI/UX Enhancements:Maintain user-friendly, visually appealing front-end applications, primarily using React and Typescript.Continuously improve the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX), ensuring adherence to accessibility and usability best practices.Optimise and monitor website performance for speed and efficiency across all devices.Project & Feature Development:Plan, develop, and implement new features and system improvements from concept to deployment.Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.Participate in ticketing and project planning to manage development workflows effectively.Coordinate and manage project timelines and deliverables in collaboration with the development team and clients.Integration & Compliance:Lead and execute third-party integration efforts, ensuring seamless system connections and data interoperability.Provide expertise in API integration strategies.Assist with compliance-related requirements (e.g., Safer4Schools, GDPR) and implement robust security best practices.Quality Assurance & Support:Identify, diagnose, and fix bugs to maintain software stability and performance.Implement and manage comprehensive software testing, including unit, integration, and quality assessments.Provide first-line technical support to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.Infrastructure & Security Management:Configure and manage cloud hosting environments (AWS) to ensure reliability, scalability, and optimal performance.Manage and report on enterprise-wide information security risks and solutions.Documentation & Reporting:Maintain clean, precise, and well-documented code.Provide regular project reports to supervisors and stakeholders, including key development and performance metrics, demonstrating keen attention to detail.Required Skills & Qualifications:Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack .NET Developer, with strong proficiency in the .NET ecosystem (e.g., .NET Core, .NET 5/6/7).Deep understanding of middleware, routing, model binding, and dependency injection within the .NET framework.Proven experience in frontend development with React/NextJS (1+ year) and a strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.3+ years of practical experience with AWS cloud environments.Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORMs (e.g., Entity Framework Core).Experience with API integration and third-party service integration.Experience with Code-first deployments.Proficiency in project planning, Git-based source code management, and ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, Bitbucket).Familiarity with compliance and security requirements (e.g., GDPR, accessibility standards).Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.Excellent attention to detail and ability to write clean, maintainable code.Great communication skills, capable of engaging directly with clients for business requirement gathering and technical support.Preferred Qualifications:oExperience with Blazor for full-stack development.oPractical experience with accessibility and
