Our strategic commitment is outlined in Keeping People Healthy: SWSLHD Prevention Strategy to 2028.Keeping People Healthy is a bold strategy encompassing a holistic approach that considers the distinct needs and circumstances of communities in south west Sydney.The Senior Project Officer will support the implementation of Keeping People Healthy collaborating with key partners across the local health district.Were looking for a highly motivated population health practitioner who has demonstrated delivery of evidence based initiatives to improve health outcomes.What You''ll Be DoingThe Senior Project Officer will lead planning, implementation and evaluation of agreed priorities between SWSLHD and key internal and external partners. This includes a range of project management and administrative functions. The program of work will vary with a focus on health and wellbeing initiatives tailored to meet the specific needs of the community.Where You''ll Be WorkingSouth Western Sydney is rapidly growing and is a great place for young people and families to build a life. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver''s license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
