Appointments may be made from this pool until 15/12/2025.Salary: MP Year 1-2 $212,681 - $222,412 p.a. (inclusive of base salary, 11.5% superannuation, and professional development allowance)Position ProfileThe Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine at Royal Perth Bentley Group provides an integrated pain service. The pain service consists of inpatient acute pain service rounds at RPH and BHS, a transitional pain clinic at BHS and the outpatient multidisciplinary pain management centre at RPH delivering whole person care within a socio-psycho-biomedical framework to enable people to achieve improved function and pain management.Individual outpatient clinics to individualise treatment options to each unique patient, within a multidisciplinary approach:Medical pain specialist, psychiatry and rheumatologyClinical PsychologistsPhysiotherapyOccupational TherapyClinical Nurse/Clinical Nurse SpecialistAffiliations with the Pain Service include Palliative Care and Addiction Medicine, where clinical time can be organised to provide exposure for pain fellows.There is a potential to gain experience working with pelvic pain at King Edwards Memorial Hospital and paediatric pain with Perth Childrens Hospital.Area ProfileRoyal Perth Hospital (RPH) is Perths inner city, tertiary adult hospital and part of the Royal Perth Bentley Group.
