We pride ourselves on being big enough to manage, yet small enough to care!AtStar Aviation, were not just filling roles were building a team of people who embody the spirit of our brand and take pride in representing both our company and our customers.Were proud to bebig enough to manage with the capability, experience, and professionalism to keep operations running smoothly at some of Australias busiest airports.But were alsosmall enough to care which means youll be recognised, supported, and genuinely valued every step of the way.If that sounds like the kind of team you want to be part of wed love to hear from you.Job DescriptionAs a Passenger Service Officer, no two days will be the same, where you will be responsible delivering Passenger Reduced Mobility (PRM) services, assisting and guiding special needs customers throughout their journey of the Airport, ensuring they arrive in a safe and timely manner to their destination.Being the face of the company to clients and passengers, you will put the customers needs at the heart of all required tasks.You will be required to have the ability to be available to work shifts which could commence as early as 05:00 am and finish as late as 24:00 midnight.Key responsibilities of the role:Pushing passengers that require wheelchair assistance in wheelchairsComplete any relevant documentationProvide accurate information to passengersOperate any lifting devices, including Eagle Hoists, in accordance with Airline approved transfer methods, to assist wheelchair passengersProvide assistance to passengers that have their own personal wheelchair in transferring, in accordance with Airline approved transfer methods (from wheelchairs back to personal devices and vice versa)Provide assistance to wheelchair passengers in manuevering luggage from the baggage belt onto a trolleyCollect and ensure that relevant equipment (wheelchairs, E-Caddy etc) are collected from around the Airport to ensure it is in the required locations and stored effectivelyProvide assistance to customers in finding family or friends who are collecting them at a drop-off point within the boundaries of the airport as requested by the passengerShortlisted candidates may be invited to an Assessment Centre on Wednesday, 9th July 2025.Successful candidates will then progress to complete a mandatory medical assessment, before commencing a 2 week paid training block.
