Add expected salary to your profile for insightsHeartKids is looking for a motivated and experienced National Service Delivery Manager based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane to lead the design, development, growth and continuous improvement of HeartKids "For Life" Model of Support nationally. The position ensures the delivery of consistent, high-quality, evidence-based programs that meet the diverse needs of children, teens and adults impacted by childhood-onset heart disease (CoHD) and their parents and carers. It includes providing strategic and clinical oversight, fostering a cohesive and high performing team environment, and championing a culture of innovation, excellence and inclusion across HeartKids. This role will be responsible for both the strategic and operational management of programs, ensuring sustainable service growth, quality assurance, impact and a culture of high performance.Key Skills RequiredTertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as community services, business management, or health/social services related fieldStrong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and work independentlySignificant experience in leading and scaling service delivery within a health, disability, aged care, or community care settingProven people leadership across multi-disciplinary and geographically dispersed teamsDemonstrated success in implementing client/patient-centred models of care with measurable impactSound knowledge of clinical governance, quality frameworks, co-design and service performance improvementHigh-level skills in stakeholder engagement, contract negotiation, and health service partnership managementStrong business acumen with experience in budgeting, change management, data analysis, quality improvement, reporting, and service optimisationFamiliarity with legislative requirements such as Privacy Act, Child Safe Standards and safeguarding obligationsStrong cultural awareness knowledge and preferred experience providing services for priority populations including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, culturally and linguistically diverse people and those living in rural or remote areasUnderstanding of the Australian health care system and chronic condition management and journeysExperience engaging with state and federal departments of health, governments, funders, and research institutions.Familiarity with the NDIS framework, including legislation, practice standards, and the Code of ConductExperience in, or working with the Australian tertiary and community health care systems, with an intricate knowledge of service delivery, funding and processAbout HeartKidsHeartKids are champions of the heart as Australias leading childhood-onset heart disease (CoHD) charity, and the only not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting and advocating for families impacted by CoHD.We bring care, connection, and compassion to those living with CoHD.
