We also offer you the freedom to be a positive disrupter and turn big ideas into industry-changing realities.For our business, clients, and you:The Regional CFO will be ultimately responsible for the finance function of the APAC Region of Apex Group.A senior member of the finance leadership team, the candidate will ensure the various entities financial records are accurate and up-to-date, complying with all Group requirements. The role involves direct interaction with finance teams, business operation heads, and third parties.In addition to overseeing historical financial results, the Regional CFO will coordinate Group Finance requirements with the business. This includes managing the finance activities and engaging closely with the Local Managing Director and other business leaders.The individual will be responsible for delivering, analyzing, and interpreting financial reports to maintain a stable, compliant, and well-controlled trading environment. This includes managing the team, working with MDs and business managers, and presenting financial results to them and the entity Boards.Job Responsibilities:The duties include, but are not limited to:Maintaining the finance function by working with the Chief Global Head Regional Finance CFO, MDs, and Service Group Heads to ensure appropriate financial information for managing the business and risks.Understanding the business, its competitors, risks, opportunities, and challenges to inform strategic decisions.Providing leadership and control over the finance staffing and costs for the region.Reviewing and improving finance processes to ensure best practices and efficiencies.Driving strategy and ensuring financial considerations are integrated into strategic decisions.Monitoring cash flow in coordination with treasury, managing funding requests and loan repayments, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.Representing the finance function in discussions with clients and third parties.Ensuring timely delivery of financial reports and analysis to support decision-making and compliance.Managing statutory and regulatory reporting, including audits.Ensuring compliance with tax, transfer pricing, and VAT regulations.Implementing internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.Delivering regional budget data and forecasts on schedule.Implementing good corporate governance practices in financial procedures.Managing the Country Finance Controllers and ensuring proper resourcing and training.Skills Required:Qualified accountant with at least 10 years of relevant experienceExcellent accounting skills and attention to detailExperience with IFRS and regional GAAPsResilient with problem-solving skillsStrong analytical and financial modeling skillsEffective people management and leadership abilitiesExperience in multi-currency, multi-company, and multi-jurisdictional accounting is advantageousStrategic thinking and commercial acumenConflict resolution and troubleshooting skillsExperience in treasury and fundingEffective stakeholder communication skillsAbility to prioritize and meet deadlinesDisclaimer: Unsolicited CVs sent to Apex by recruitment agencies will not be accepted.
