Join us in our mission and become part of a team that not only envisions a better future but actively works to create it.The opportunityAs General Manager, Investment Governance and Research youll drive the transformation of Netwealths investment function, revitalising a high-performing team, enhancing governance frameworks, and steering the strategic direction of our managed account menus and product offerings.Were looking for someone who can bring strategic oversight, foster impactful partnerships, and help differentiate Netwealth through bold investment thinking. You''ll also play a key role in enhancing our reputation as a trusted investment expert, both within the business and across the industry.You will:Lead and inspire the investment team, fostering a culture of curiosity, accountability, and external engagement.Oversee investment governance, research, and product oversight with a focus on excellence and integrity.Operationalise robust governance frameworks aligned with APRA and ASIC expectations.Drive thought leadership and actionable insights across internal and external audiences.Represent Netwealth in the market as a credible and respected investment voice.Evaluate and optimise the managed accounts menu and investment product suite.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure investment offerings align with strategic objectives.About YouYou bring over a decade of investment leadership experience, a passion for transformation, and a strong market presence. Youre known for your deep expertise in investment governance and research, and your ability to inspire teams and elevate performance.Key skills and experience:Proven track record in investment management, research, and governance, with deep expertise in managed accounts and investment product structures.Demonstrated ability to lead change, revitalise established teams, and translate strategic insights into action.Strong understanding of investment governance and regulatory compliance (APRA, ASIC) within platform or superannuation environments.Strategic leadership with a history of elevating platform reputation through thought leadership and market engagement.Advanced skills in portfolio risk analysis, macroeconomic scenario planning, and maintaining investor confidence during market shifts.Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience representing organisations in external forums and media.Life At NetwealthAt Netwealth, people are our core strength, and we invest in our employees no matter what stage of life they are in.
