Starting in February 2026, our 2-year apprenticeship provides the opportunity to gain a nationally recognized trade qualification Certificate III in ESI Distribution Overhead (UET30621).Learning from skilled tradespeople, you will be exposed to:A combination of theory and hands-on learning, delivered by TasNetworks own RTOOn-site field work at various locations in the South, North, and North-West regionsConstruction and maintenance of transmission overhead networkLow voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) switching operationsLocating and rectifying faults on the transmission networkOperating and maintaining plant and equipmentCompleting paperwork and reportingTasNetworks is responsible for ''keeping the lights on'' across Tasmania, including during extreme weather events like storms, bushfires, floods, and snowfall.This apprenticeship offers more than just a job; it sets you up for a lifelong career!About YouYou must be a qualified electrician (essential) with a passion for building your career and making a difference in your community.
