Add expected salary to your profile for insightsFor well over 3 decades,Supercharge Batterieshas been a market leader in the automotive battery industry.Our parent company Ramcar ANZ operates a diverse range of businesses across Australia and New Zealand, including battery supply, battery recycling, mobile service and automotive services.About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a store person to join our team.Operating out of our Newcastle site, you will report to the Branch Supervisor and will be responsible for the main warehousing activitieswhilst delivering outstanding service to both internal and external stakeholders dailyYour main duties, whilst not limited to, will include the following:Receiving and processing incoming and outgoing stock and materialsPicking and filling orders from stockPacking and shipping ordersOrganising and retrieving stock in the warehouseDelivering products to customersProviding great service to our customers at all timesMaintaining a clean and safe workplaceWorking harmoniously with theteam to achieve maximum efficiencyAdhering to the companys policies and proceduresAdhering to Health and Safety policies and procedures in placeIn addition, you may be required to do Sales Representative Relief on an adhoc basis.Duties include Customer Contact and Support, Deliveries and Invoicing, Processing Warranties and Truck Stock Management.About YouTo be considered for this opportunity, you must possess the following competencies:Forklift Licence (Mandatory)Previous warehouse experience is preferredExcellent phone/personal customer service skillsCurrent MR or above DriversLicence (Mandatory)Excellent inventory and housekeeping skillsA good level of fitness is required asyou will be regularly handling batteries weighing up to 25 kgStrict awareness to Health and Safety proceduresSelf-motivated and reliableComputer/Ipad LiterateGood Communications SkillsIn return..You will work with a well-established company andsupportive team whilsthavingthe opportunity to expand your skills within this industry.
