With a strong family owned identity Nolan''s have been successfully servicing our customers up and down the Eastern Seaboard for over 100 years.We are currently expanding our workshop team and looking for skilled Mechanics, Trade Assistants and Adult/Junior Apprentices to maintain our fleet of modern trucks and trailers to the highest standard. Our Gatton depot features state-of-the-art equipment to support our dedicated teams.About the RolesRoster: Monday to Friday 6:30am to 5:00pmKey Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and servicing of trucks and trailers, oil changes, greasing, filter changesCarry out basic repairsConduct basic inspections and troubleshooting of trucks and trailersMaintain accurate service records and reports on equipment performanceEnsure the optimal performance and safety of equipmentAdhere to safety standards and ensure compliance with company policiesWork autonomously and within a team to ensure equipment reliabilityMaintain a strong focus on safety, adhering to site safety proceduresPrerequisites:Previous experience as a service person, preferably within the heavy transport/equipment industry2+ years experience working within a mechanical workshop/field environmentHavea valid Australian Drivers Licence (HR/HC/MC licence highly regarded)Strong knowledge of servicingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamHigh levels of initiative and flexible approach to workA strong commitment to safety, with attention to detail and adherence to safety proceduresWhat We OfferModern Facilities: Work in cutting-edge workshops, equipped with the latest technology and tools.Knowledge Enhancement: Access training from our truck and trailer manufacturers to stay updated with the latest advancements.Mentorship: Share your expertise with the next generation of mechanics.Career Advancement: Opportunities for growth and development within the company.
