In this role, the Master Production Scheduler will consistently provide short-term finite capacity-constrained production plans with feasible and realistic sequenced materials in accordance with the availability of resources (production lines/ labour) and materialsA day in the Life:This role focuses on optimizing the factory''s production capabilities by effectively managing available capacity, Labor, and materials to ensure the timely and efficient production of Stock Keeping Units within product families. Reporting to the Factory Supply Chain Manager, key responsibilities include but not limited to:Create a feasible production plan within the Demand Planning (DPS) period that takes into consideration available capacity, labor and materials.Consider the product family sequencing as determined by the Master Production (MPS) planner and best optimizes the factory''s ability to produce the SKUs within the families.Identify of practical issues concerning plant shutdowns, timing of promotion activity within the DPS period.Identify of possible opportunities and challenges for the factory within the DPS period.Give advance information on labor requirements within the DPS period.What will make you successful:Joining a collaborative team of specialists, you will be a strong team player with a drive to deliver quality outcomes with efficiency and with a passion for continuous process improvement.Enjoy working within cross-functional teams in a dynamic work environment.Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred.You will have 2+ years operational experience in either Production Planning (MPS) or Material Planning (MRP).Knowledge of Demand/Supply Planning, Material Management or Inventory Management.Experience using SAP (APO) and advanced skills in Excel.Solution focused and pro-active attitude and high attention to detail.Clear and effective communication skills are essential.Experience in stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.The right person must be proactive, thorough, and detailed, with a high level of relationship building.You are a problem solver, proactive and strong in implementing sustainable solutions to address business needs and/or issues.Benefits:You will have the chance to work with an outstanding and highly engaged team, build and grow your career with an inclusive, global FMCG leader.In addition, we offer:Varied career experiences and personalised development supportDiversity and Inclusion initiatives and programDiscounted Nestl productsCompetitive remuneration packageEmployee Assistance ProgramOur StoryAt Nestl, we want to help shape a better and healthier world, inspire people to live healthier lives and deliver impact at a scale and pace that makes a difference.
