Please note the below:Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made when similar vacancies occur.Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/12/2027.About The PositionsProvide comprehensive medical and community health services to the Carnarvon/Exmouth Health Service and remote communities. Provide clinical leadership, supervision, training, and education. Develop and maintain the skills necessary to provide safe, effective, appropriate, and quality clinical service. These roles are suitable for rural generalists who get a chance to do emergency department work on a rotating roster, ward type-based care and GP outreach clinics. There is also nonclinical time assigned to the roles.Reporting to the Senior Medical Officer at each site will ensure you have the guidance and mentorship to thrive. You''ll have access to resident specialists in person or via telehealth, and the WACHS Command Centre offer support with rapid care coordination and team leadership Emergency Medicine and Mental Health patients. In this role, you regularly collaborate with the Royal Flying Doctor Service which will hone your skills in patient retrieval and high-level care.At WACHS, we value teamwork. The Carnarvon Health Campus includes refurbished emergency department with two resuscitation bays, four treatment bays, central nursing station, three consulting rooms, mental health assessment room and a new triage booth. The Exmouth Health Campus offers programs such as community mental health, social work, and child health services in one location for ease of access.
