Come and join us in building the infrastructure our planet needs to achieve a sustainable future.Job DescriptionAcciona Agua, a global leader in sustainable infrastructure and water solutions, is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support our tendering efforts across major water infrastructure projects in South Australia.This is a key consultancy role focused on pre-construction and tender development, helping shape winning strategies and ensuring a smooth transition into project delivery.Tender & Bid SupportLead the development of construction strategies and technical content for major tenders.Collaborate with bid teams to formulate client-focused, innovative solutions.Conduct risk and opportunity assessments, contributing to pricing strategies and value engineering.Ensure tender submissions are robust, strategically positioned, and commercially sound.Participate in client workshops and interactive sessions to translate insights into competitive advantages.Pre-Construction LeadershipOversee design development, tender submissions, and pre-construction deliverables.Drive successful delivery of pre-construction phases through effective leadership and quality control.Continuously improve pre-construction processes and systems to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.Transition to Project DeliveryLead the transition from tender to delivery, ensuring continuity of strategy and technical integrity.Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to meet design and operational specifications.Oversee the development of project documentation, including management plans, commissioning protocols, and performance testing.Manage vendor engagement, procurement activities, and technical clarifications.About YouRequired Skills and CompetenciesDegree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.10+ years of experience in construction management, with a strong focus on water infrastructure.Proven experience in pre-construction, tendering, and project delivery.Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to manage high-performing teams.Deep understanding of BCA codes, WHS compliance, and structured project environments.Proficiency in MS Projects and digital engineering tools.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Willingness to travel interstate and internationally as required.Spanish language skills are advantageous but not essential.Why Join Acciona Agua?Be part of a global leader in sustainable water solutions.Work on high-impact infrastructure projects that shape communities.Collaborate with a passionate, innovative, and supportive team.Enjoy opportunities for professional growth and international exposure.ACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in Australia, which certifies the company''s commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
