We offer a supportive atmosphere.As a Chef, your responsibilities will include:Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene levels of food preparation areas and kitchen equipmentMeal and food preparation for patients according to recipesMonitoring daily temperatures of refrigerators and freezers to meet food safety standardsImplementing Food Safety ProgramsUnderstanding dietary nutrition requirementsComplying with accreditation standards, WH&S management, and coordination functionsProviding excellent customer service to patients and staffWorking independently and as part of a teamLiaising with managementAbout The Victoria Clinic:Located on Malvern Road in Prahran, The Victoria Clinic is a state-of-the-art private psychiatric facility with 115 beds, specializing in high-quality inpatient and outpatient mental health services. We aim to help individuals improve their psychological and emotional well-being in a safe and supportive environment. The clinic offers various therapeutic, recreational, and occupational activities to promote health. It is conveniently located near public transport, with free onsite parking and close to Chapel Street''s restaurants and shops.Selection Criteria:Certificate III in Commercial Cooking or equivalent; Certificate IV preferredManagement qualifications at Certificate levelFood Safety Supervisor CertificateCertificate in Safe Food HandlingKnowledge of HACCP regulationsGood communication and time management skillsPersonal hygiene and appearanceAvailability for shifts over a 7-day roster, including weekends (morning/afternoon)Previous experience in a busy restaurant, hospital, hotel, or similar environment preferredStrong culinary skills and passion for high-quality mealsExperience managing all aspects of kitchen operations in a healthcare or catering settingWhy Join Healthscope?Join our Community of Care.
