Additionally, the Region oversees the state''s southern marine parks - Great Sandy Marine Park and Moreton Bay Marine Park.This role''s main responsibility is Compliance Operations, involving the planning, execution, and reporting of compliance activities across National Park islands and Marine Parks in the North Tropical Coast region and the wider Great Barrier Reef (GBR) area. You will collaborate closely with the Reef Authority, Queensland Boating and Fisheries Patrol (QBFP), Traditional Owner Partners, various government agencies, and key stakeholder groups to ensure effective management and protection of these environments.Role focus: Plan, carry out, and report on compliance activities, including park patrols and enforcement of relevant laws. Collaborate with the Reef Authority, QBFP, Indigenous partners, government agencies, and stakeholders. Supervise teams and contribute to project planning, resource management and infrastructure maintenance.
