We have leveraged the unique skills and complementary expertise of each like-minded joint venture partner to build scaled end-to-end solutions that will successfully accelerate a local circular economy.About This OpportunityWe are looking for flexible candidates for Day and Afternoon shift operations. Your role will involve 12-hour rosters (8 hours if required) at this Greenfields, state-of-the-art rHDPE/PP recycling facility. You will be trained efficiently in areas such as Quality and WHSE and will be responsible for following work instructions in each area.You will play a key role in delivering a continuous improvement mindset and initiatives to process up to 25,000 tonnes of baled post-consumer HDPE/PP annually for conversion into food-grade rHDPE resin.Your Key Responsibilities Will Be ToComply with WHSE procedures and directions, follow reasonable instructions, and work towards Goal Zero.Undertake duties safely and contribute to the safety of others through involvement in BOPs, Risk Assessments, and Incident Reporting.Provide relevant licences and permits to supervisors where required.Contribute to product quality through inspection and testing as specified on Operator Instruction sheets.Promptly advise Supervisors or Technicians of WHSE, Quality, Maintenance, or People issues.Work effectively to ensure quality products are produced timely and cost-effectively.Maintain housekeeping of workstations during shifts, with a final cleanup at the end of each shift.Your Skills And ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will have:Experience working in or willingness to work in 24/5 and later 24/7 operations.Experience in extrusion, blow/injection moulding, or thermoforming within a plastics manufacturing environment.Mechanical aptitude.Ability to adjust, calibrate, and test equipment at the start of each shift to ensure proper operation.Ability to learn new processes quickly and troubleshoot issues while maintaining quality standards.Ability to work safely, effectively, and productively in a fast-paced environment.A positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect across all levels at the site. #J-18808-Ljbffr
