We''re seeking a compassionate and capable Chef to join our team and contribute to the wellbeing of our clients through nourishing, home-style meals.In this role, you''ll cater for a small group of up to 24 clients per service no a la carte stress, no high-pressure prep, and absolutely no late nights or early starts. Our kitchen runs like a well-oiled machine, offering you space to breathe and take pride in your craft.The Day-to-DayThe Chef / Cook will hold responsibility for the following tasks, which will make up the majority of the work:Planning and preparing fresh, balanced meals according to pre-set menusMeeting dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-aware optionsMaintaining a high standard of food hygiene and kitchen cleanlinessCoordinating stock control, ordering, and waste minimisationCollaborating with our wellness and clinical teams to support client recovery through nutritionCreating a calm, warm meal experience for clientsThe Successful Candidate Will Hold:Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (preferred but not essential)Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or equivalentUnderstanding of HACCP and food safety standardsFirst Aid and CPR certification (or be willing to obtain)Experience in residential, healthcare or hospitality cooking settings (desirable)What We OfferA peaceful, purpose-driven workplace in the Maleny hinterlandA supportive team and positive kitchen cultureHours with flexibility for lifestyleA chance to make a meaningful difference every dayHow to ApplyTo apply, please submit your up-to-date resume and a cover letter (no more than 1 page) telling us about your interest in the role and why we might be a fit for you.Palladium Private respects and honours Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past, present and emerging.
