This is a pivotal role that partners with our key customers and stakeholders.Duties & Responsibilities:Operating, maintaining, and carrying out corrective maintenance actions on full flight simulators, virtual reality trainers and desk top training devicesDaily maintenance activities to ensure operation successAssist with re-evaluation activities to ensure simulators are compliant with EASA regulationsSupporting and rectifying minor IT issuesMaintaining tools and test equipment, and ensure equipment is in calibrationMaintaining records and documentation using computerised maintenance management systemsMaintaining a sound working relationship with the customer and other relevant stakeholdersUtilising spares and carrying out repairs to ensure that the devices meet contracted availability requirementsPrioritize safety by adhering to Health Safety and Environmental policies and proceduresQualifications and Skills:Qualifications in Avionics, Information Technology, Electronics and or similar fieldsExperience in a technical workshop or maintenance environmentStrong customer relationshipSound interpersonal skills and a good team playerStrong written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to work on a shift pattern that includes Early Morning, Afternoon and Late ShiftsMust hold a current Drivers LicenceBe eligible or hold Australian Defence Security Clearance NV1Desirable Qualifications and Skills:Experience working with simulation projects in a technical roleExperience working with Defence industriesWE ENCOURAGE YOU TO APPLYAfter you have applied, you will receive an email acknowledging your application.
