Founded in 2023, were raising the hospitality benchmark in regional Australia, offering best-in-class accommodations, streamlined systems, and a fun, vibrant culture across our Queensland (Bundaberg and Emerald) and New South Wales (Dubbo and Orange) properties.We are looking for a motivated Food and Beverage Services Manager to join our team at our Burnett Riverside Hotel property located in Bundaberg, Queensland.Food and Beverage Services Manager OverviewAs a key member of the hotels Senior Leadership Team, The Food and Beverage Services Manager oversees all aspects of dining, bar, and event operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences across daily restaurant service, functions, events, and bar operations. This role combines hands-on operational leadership with proactive coordination and sales of functions, while driving profitability, team performance, and brand experience aligned with the Burnett Riverside Hotels redefined casual-upmarket positioning.Why youll love working for us:Competitive remuneration with a cash payment incentive scheme and a fun, rewarding work environmentExperience preferred, but open to training for the right personBe part of our foundation team as the hotel & restaurant relaunchesWell supported yet autonomous role with an excellent mix of operations, administration, networking, sales, and creativity.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational ManagementLead and manage daily F&B operations including restaurant, bar, room service, and events.Ensure high standards of service, presentation, and cleanliness are maintained.Liaise with kitchen and front office teams for smooth cross-departmental coordination.Monitor stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships in line with budget.Functions and Events CoordinationManage all event enquiries from initial contact through to execution and follow-up.Create, promote, and sell tailored event packages (corporate, weddings, private functions).Coordinate with clients and internal departments to ensure successful delivery.Maintain accurate event bookings, function sheets, run sheets, and invoicing.Supervise, train, and roster F&B staff across all departments.Foster a positive, guest-focused team culture aligned with hotel values.Manage daily performance, coach team members, and handle disciplinary issues as needed.Finance & ReportingMonitor revenue and costs to ensure profitability across F&B and events.Assist with budgeting and forecasting.Track and report on function sales, revenue, and KPIs.Guest Experience & Brand AlignmentEnsure service delivery aligns with the hotels brand vision of a relaxed, refined, riverfront experience.Personally handle VIP bookings, complaints, and customer feedback as required.Implement seasonal updates to F&B offerings in collaboration with the Head Chef.Key Skills & AttributesStrong leadership, networking, and people management skills.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Proven event coordination and hospitality management experience.High attention to detail and organisational ability.Strong understanding of food and beverage operations and financials.A mature and professional personal presentation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.Familiarity with RMS, POS systems (e.g., SwiftPOS), and Microsoft Office Suite.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 3+ years experience in a hospitality supervisory or managerial role.Demonstrated experience coordinating functions and events.Strong RSA and compliance knowledge.Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Required.Current RMLV or willing to obtain Required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
