Join the Office of the Inspector of Custodial Services as the Official Visitor Coordinator and help ensure independent oversight of correctional and youth justice facilities across NSW. This is a unique opportunity to lead a vital program that supports transparency and accountability in custodial environments.What Youll DoAs part of the Inspector of Custodial Services team, you will coordinate the Official Visitor Program, supporting approximately 90 Official Visitors across NSW. Youll manage appointments, training, and communications, ensuring the program operates effectively and within legislative requirements.Youll AlsoAnalyse complaints to identify systemic issuesProvide strategic advice to the Inspector of Custodial ServicesParticipate in inspections and stakeholder forumsLiaise with key partners including Corrective Services NSW, Youth Justice NSW, and Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health NetworkYoull work in a small, collaborative team committed to integrity, fairness, and continuous improvement, in a professional and supportive office environment.What Were Looking ForStrong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills, ideally in a regulatory or oversight environmentExperience interpreting legislation and policy to inform operational decisionsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writingTertiary Qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experienceAppointments are subject to reference checks.
