The role is responsible for the planning, coordination, implementation and monitoring of community-led projects that engage, empower and creatively develop young people (5 - 18 years) across Parramatta and Cumberland LGA (Western Sydney), particularly those who are marginalised or at-risk, in accordance with the TEI framework.Working at the intersection of digital media, community development and contemporary arts practice, this role provides opportunities for young people to gain access to creative tools, professional pathways, and a sense of agency within their communities.This is a leadership role for a highly motivated producer who thrives in community-led creative environments, is skilled in facilitation and project management, and brings a commitment to equity, collaboration and innovation.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProject Development & DeliveryDesign and deliver high-impact, community-led projects with and for young people across Parramatta and Cumberland LGAFacilitate digital and creative workshops, events, and programs with an emphasis on capacity building and skills developmentEngage in ongoing consultation with youth communities to identify current needs, emerging ideas and responsive programmingWork in partnership with schools, local councils, youth services, and grassroots collectivesCreative & Digital FacilitationLead creative projects including digital storytelling, creative technology, screen or media-based engagements with youthEnsure access to creative expression through inclusive and culturally safe practicesKeep abreast of new tools, technologies, cultural trends, and global best practicesStakeholder & Community EngagementBuild and maintain strong networks with community organisations, artists, youth workers, and service providersRepresent ACE on inter-agency networks, coalitions, and sector forumsDeepen ACEs presence in local community ecosystems through authentic relationship-buildingBudget, Funding & AdministrationManage project budgets, timelines and compliance in line with DCJ funding agreementsMonitor program performance and maintain accurate records, data collection and reporting in line with TEI Outcomes Framework and DCJ reporting requirements (DEX)Prepare funding reports, evaluation data, and KPI documentationSupport income generation through grants, partnerships, and other sourcesOversee contractors, artists, interns and volunteersMarketing & CommunicationsCollaborate with ACEs Communications team to develop project documentation and promotional contentEnsure youth projects are accurately represented on ACEs platforms (web, social media, newsletter)Contribute to audience engagement and storytelling strategiesSELECTION CRITERIA:Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent professional experienceMinimum 2 years experience producing community or cultural projectsStrong track record of working with diverse, marginalised or at-risk youthDemonstrated experience in creative facilitation and/or digital mediaExcellent communication, interpersonal and project management skillsProven ability to build cross-sector partnerships and collaborate with a range of stakeholdersBudget management and income generation experience, including grants and sponsorshipsStrong understanding of Western Sydneys diverse communities, youth-led practice, and social justice frameworksAbility to collect and manage program data and report using systems such as DEX.Experience in storytelling, content creation, or digital campaigns led by/for young peopleAbility to design and deliver creative professional development workshops or youth leadership initiativesExisting networks within the arts, youth, education, or social impact sectors in Western SydneyExperience in supervising staff, contractors, interns, or volunteersExperience in developing and delivering forums, workshops, and training programsExperience in working alongside First Nations, CALD, LGBTQIA+, or disability communitiesFamiliarity with trauma-informed or culturally responsive practice in youth or community workKnowledge of arts-based evaluation methodsFamiliarity with relevant compliance and safeguarding frameworks (e.g. NSW Child Safe Standards)Proficiency with creative and communication platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or TikTokHOW TO APPLY:Your application must include a cover letter no more than 2 pages addressing the Selection Criteria, a current CV and contact detail for 2 referees.Please email your application by 5pm on 25th July 2025 (Friday) with Application for Producer -
