We have also been selected to sustain and jointly build Australias conventionally armed, nuclear-powered submarines.Why Join UsContribute to Australias national security.Grow your career with meaningful and rewarding roles.Enjoy flexibility to balance life and work.Be part of a team delivering a deeper purpose.ResponsibilitiesDepending on your role and experience, you may:Manage and execute sourcing activities in key categories to achieve procurement strategy and business objectives.Manage full cycle procurement activities and categories.Develop and support category strategies through engagement with stakeholders and the market.Lead engagement with suppliers, defining sourcing, contracting, and negotiation strategies.Support supply chain governance, compliance, and assurance.Manage strategic IT procurement categories as part of the Digital Transformation Project.About YouQualifications in commerce, law, supply chain, project management, or extensive procurement experience.Membership or eligibility for membership of CIPS Australia.Understanding of category management, sourcing, contracts, risk management, and best practices.Skills in MRP systems (IFS desirable) and Microsoft Office.Project management skills to deliver sourcing projects on time and within budget.Proven record of delivering cost savings and business value.Excellent written communication skills.Knowledge of financial reporting and business case development.Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.Eligibility for Australian Defence Security Clearance to Negative Vetting-Level 1.Note: Roles require current security clearances and the ability to access protected US defence technology.
