The role has an immediate start with a small current client base, once established in the role this client base will increase with discussions between the successful candidate and the principal.Once established, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing their time to meet their KPIs and will have the option of working in a predominately remote role with a bi-weekly in office supervision and team meetings.About youYou have 2 or more years of experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner. Completing functional behaviour assessments and developing support plans for people living with complex support needsIdeally, you have attained at least a Proficient classification with the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission (NDIS-QSC) However, Core practitioner will also be considered.You have Relevant qualifications in the areas of Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Nursing, Social or Health Sciences, Developmental Education or equivalent.You have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to connect and work with a range of stakeholders.You have a person-centred approach and mindset to your clinical workYou have good organisational and computer skills allowing you to work to established timeframes.You can work independently, and as part of a larger team of both practitioners and other NDIS and Health Professionals.You can organise and engage in mentoring, training and assessment to satisfy ongoing registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS-QSC and progress through the competency frameworkYou have a current driver''s license, daily access to a privately insured vehicle, and the willingness to travel.You have a current Working with Children''s Check (WWCC)You have a current NDIS Worker Screening CheckWhat''s on OfferA competitive salary with profit sharing opportunities tied to KPI performanceRealistic and negotiable billable hoursFive weeks of annual leave provided as standard, including the Christmas and New Year period off every year.Flexible working conditions, with regular work-for-home (WFH) days and laptop, mobile, and e-tag provided.A robust clinical practice approach with weekly supervision and mentoring supportAn individual budget to spend on your own professional developmentA varied caseload with strong referral networksOpportunities for career developmentA close-knit team who are always on hand for assistanceAdministrative and organisational supportWhat will I be doing?Working to deliver high-quality, person-centred behaviour support, implementation, and therapy services to people with an intellectual and/or psychosocial disabilityEngaging and communicating with families, staff and other support networksConducting and writing functional behaviour assessmentsDeveloping, monitoring and evaluating positive behaviour support plans, including the effectiveness of strategies and interventionsDelivering training, providing clinical advice, and coaching to staff using evidence-based approaches to support people to achieve their personal goals and positive outcomes.Psychologists will also be conducting psychometric assessments and engaging in direct therapy work with clients.How to ApplyIf you believe that you are a good fit for the position, please send your CV and a cover letter to admin@therapeuticlink.com.auNote that all applicants must have a legal right to work in Australia and full COVID-19 vaccination history.
