The position focuses on achieving short and long-term sales objectives by identifying customer needs and providing solutions to create a long-term partnership between the customer and company. The role portfolio covers NSW, QLD, and ACT.Experience and understanding of human diseases through proteomics, one who can communicate with customers at a well-informed and professional level offering them solutions to try and address their clinical questions related to understanding real-time biology, stratifying patients, and developing drugs will be key for the successful incumbent.Responsibilities:Understand the major drivers and limitations of the market in the relevant territoryProactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the biotech industryDevelop and maintain KOL relationships for which a strong scientific background is neededMap key accountsManage existing and new biomarker discovery projects within accountsProvide technical presentations to potential clients interested in protein biomarker discoveryProvide study design guidance in collaboration with Field Application Scientist team to ensure client satisfactionBring creative solutions to clients and be able to understand the value drivers within their organizationsMaintain updated customer and opportunity information in SalesforceMaintain knowledge of competitive products and technologiesProvide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfactionSuccessfully manage and grow a portfolio of key accountsConduct market research to determine customer needs and preferencesPrepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective customersFoster and nurture strong relationships with a diverse range of customersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution of sales strategies and initiativesMonitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growthStrictly adhere to company policies and procedures in all sales activitiesKeys to Success:Education:Bachelor''s/Masters degree in Science a relevant field or equivalent experienceSkills and Experience:5-10 years relevant sales industry experienceProven track record of success in sales, preferably in the biotech industryExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong negotiation and persuasion abilitiesHighly organized with exceptional attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficient in using CRM software and other sales toolsAmbitious and self-motivated with a passion for achieving sales targetsOpen to learn from more experienced members of the teamWilling to teach members of team and share relevant experiencesTechnical experience with proteomics or biomarker advantageousBenefits:Join our team and take advantage of these great benefits!
