This role reports to the Sales Manager and will be based in our NSW Metro Cluster.This role will focus on Customer Management within the Plasterboard industry across the NSW MetroRegion, to ensure segment sales & profitability are met in line with targets and customer satisfaction levels are maintained. Customer management will include both Residential and Commercial Builders and Key Residential and Commercial Contractors.Role responsibilities:Ensure business transactions are conducted in a legal and professional manner with strong ethical, safety and compliance standardsUndertake sales activities within the segment / region to achieve and exceed budgeted targets and take corrective action as required, whilst exceeding customer expectationsContribute to the development of the segment and customer strategy and plans, to protect current business and win new business whilst identifying opportunities for value added products and services through account plan managementDevelop strong multilevel relationships with targeted customers and segment decision makers whilst providing outstanding customer service to ensure a supplier of choice positionEnsure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales cycle as well as customer accounts are managed to an acceptable debtor levelMaintain and report knowledge of market trends, competitor activities and competitor product developmentEnsure appropriate reporting and recording of sales activities via reports and CRMCandidate requirementsSuperior written and verbal communication, negotiation and influencing skillsAbility to speak, present and lead discussions with customers along with providing product training to a customer groupSelf-motivated, driven, enthusiastic and resilient with the ability to operate autonomouslyBasic competency in Word, Excel and Power pointSAP & CRM Salesforce experience and knowledge preferredA minimum of 3 years external sales experienceBuilding industry knowledge and experience preferred but not essentialEstablished industry contacts in the Plasterboard industry preferred but not essentialSafety mindset and can do attitudeWhy join Knauf?Competitive Salary package (base + super + motor vehicle + phone + laptop)Yearly pay review14-week Parental Leave (Primary Carer)High organic internal growth promoted withinModern office technologyEligible for BonusGreat work life balanceKnauf values and is committed to creating a diverse working environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
