You will be working in a busy hospital environment providing swallowing and communication services. The role is rotational with great opportunities for upskilling and further developing your clinical knowledge and skills in a supportive work environment.The right person will enjoy working in a busy and fast paced environment and have clinical experience working in a hospital setting. Liverpool Hospital is a tertiary hospital and you will be committed to working across a variety of specialist areas and a 7 day roster as required.Interested applicants are encouraged to contact to find out more about the role.What You''ll Be DoingTo provide a high quality speech pathology service to patients/clients and their carers to ensure optimal health outcomes. This encompasses ensuring effective and efficient assessment and intervention in a multidisciplinary setting. View our application guide for information on how to respond to criteria and improve your application.Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in Speech Pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employerDemonstrated clinical knowledge, experience and skills in communication and swallowing assessment and management in paediatrics and/or adult caseloads.Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience with instrumental swallowing assessments (VFSS &/or FEES).Knowledge of and the demonstrated ability to implement the quality improvement process.Demonstrated commitment to continued professional development and commitment to evidence based practice.Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver''s license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
