Youll drive procurement strategy across the business, influence executive decision-making, and embed best-practice sourcing across our operations.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Procurement & Category LeadershipDevelop and implement procurement strategy for high-value indirect categoriesPartner with senior leaders across finance, sustainability, and operations to drive procurement-led initiativesCreate and execute detailed sourcing plans that align with market trends and business goalsLead major tender processes (RFP/RFQ) for contract renewals and new category sourcingChampion procurement best practices across the businessData, Analysis & ReportingDeliver actionable insights and analytics to support strategic decision-makingBuild procurement dashboards, track KPIs, and report savings and supplier performanceAnalyse market trends, pricing, and historical spend to drive efficiencyProvide transparent, value-focused reporting to internal stakeholdersSupplier & Contract ManagementOwn and maintain a centralised contract register and renewal calendarLead performance reviews and ensure service delivery meets contractual expectationsBuild strong supplier partnerships while managing cost, quality, and riskNegotiate commercial terms to optimise long-term valueEstablish robust supplier risk strategies and continuity plansCost Optimisation & Value DeliveryLead annualised savings programs across all indirect categoriesReview and challenge supplier pricing, structures, and scopes of workLead budgeting and forecasting processes of indirect spendIdentify innovation opportunities across consumables, services, and supplier modelsGovernance, Risk & ComplianceDevelop and lead procurement frameworks, policies, and processesEnsure procurement activity complies with legislation, standards and company policyPromote consistent sourcing practices and high governance standardsLead supply chain risk mitigation and ensure business continuity readinessConsumables Efficiency ProjectsStandardise store usage of operational consumables (e.g. fatigue mats, register rolls)Build efficiency programs to support store fitouts, remodels, and day-to-day operationsWhat Youll Bring5+ years'' procurement experience in food retail, FMCG, or a production environmentProven ability to manage large-scale indirect spend and deliver strategic outcomesStrong commercial acumen with a track record in cost savings and operational optimisationExcellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including senior leadershipDeep understanding of sustainable procurement and supplier risk managementAdvanced data analysis, reporting and problem-solving capabilitiesMicrosoft Excel proficiency; ERP/BI systems experience highly regardedWhy Join Harris Farm?Were more than a food business were a values-driven company with a strong focus on sustainability, quality and continuous improvement.
