Youll be involved in a range of initiatives that may include device upgrades, application transitions, and cloud remediation activitiesYou will have the opportunity to join our large Analysis Chapter that supports a variety of medium to large scale programs across the Suncorp Group. The Chapter consists of around 250 like-minded analysts, where ideas and best practice are shared via masterclasses and knowledge sharing. You will support projects being delivered in a continuous delivery model (Agile) as well as initiatives using traditional project delivery models.Suncorp is proud of our fantastic culture where you will be supported in your career development. Suncorp offers a hybrid way of working where you will be expected to be in the office approx. 2 days per week.What Youll DoAnalyse business area use of systems and applications and determining impact of changes to systems and how this affects each business areaDetermining requirements for applications and how this may have some technical impact (working with tech team)Build strong relationships through engagement with customers, colleagues, and other key stakeholdersDocument current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesise information accurately, completely, and coherently.Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks were applicable.Work close with squad / project members, including but not limited to Delivery lead, Scrum Master, Developers, Tech Leads, and Business stakeholders to identify, capture, plan and deliver the scope of work.What Youll BringESSENTIAL: Minimum 3 years business analysis experience in a project/delivery orientated role; from a large organisationMinimum 3 years Agile, Lean and waterfall experience including knowledge of Agile practices, workshops, and Agile ceremonies facilitationExperience or high-level understanding of application packaging for Windows devices would be beneficialExposure to infrastructure-related projects such as Windows 11 upgrades, Surface device rollout, and server transitions and experience supporting initiatives involving application platform changes (e.g. AppV transition)Familiarity with cloud migration activities and understanding of business impact across systemsMust be able to translate and understand business and technical requirements and provide appropriate alternatives and solutions to meet those requirements.Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills including experience in dealing with various levels of stakeholders internally and externally.Strong team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to make a differenceMust be able to manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines, while also working autonomously.What We Can Offer YouDiscounts and offers on a range of retail favourite stores as well as insurance products.A range of flexible working and leave options, including 20 weeks paid parental leave, 4 weeks paid secondary carer parental leave and unlimited paid emergency response leave.Invest in your brighter future with ongoing study support and career development programs.Give back to our communities with payroll giving, donation matching and paid volunteer leave.Prioritise your work/life balance with our robust employee assistance program and dedicated employee council.About SuncorpFor over 100 years Suncorp has been driven by our guiding Purpose to build futures and protect what matters.
